The Rocky Mountain National Park is located outside of Denver, Colorado and is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. It is 415 square miles of mountainous terrain cresting at over 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Road. This park has over 300 hiking trails with overlooks of the alpines, flower filled fields and tons of wildlife. And if you camp out, you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world with the stars that shine for miles!
